fine, gray ashes blanket me,
above - I hear - growling thunder
that bestest pal - I fear turned a monster
sniff - sniff - where to flee?

hundred thousands souls shocked - horror-struck,
running for life, unknowing if coming back.
from afar I hear my master's call,
alas for me, into this pit I fall.

underneath, stiffed - hard flesh I stay calm,
hoping praying my family - for me - can come.
